On the 3rd of June the University of Stuttgart extended an invitation to a reception in the German pavilion of the Expo Shanghai 2010. The 120 international guests were mainly representatives of German and Chinese partner universities and collaborating companies as well as government officials. Besides the interactive pendulum in the German Pavilion the worldwide largest membrane roof was presented to the guests. Prof. Dr. Jan Knippers pointed out the highlights of the development and construction process of the mega project.
