NXT1
The multi-story pioneer building is a prelude to the NXT Airport Collaboration Village – a lively urban village for New Work and Next Growth, located around the brand new campus of the XU Group. Flexible office and university use is planned, with meeting and training rooms and a café on the first floor.
The building structure measures 61m x 40m and is nearly 17m high. The primary structure consists of a hybrid timber structure in reinforced concrete and timber construction, with braced cores on a raft foundation. The core structures and functional areas adjacent to them are constructed in reinforced concrete, while the usable areas are timber-concrete composite slabs, supported on beams. On the facade side, the beams are built in timber, while in the corridor areas they are steel composite beams positioned within the floor to ensure maximum flexibility. The floors are supported at each level on glulam columns. With a typically grid of 5.6m.
