This building is a new 10-storey residential tower block in Berlin-Friedrichshain. On a site of approx. 2000 m², about 71 high-quality apartments are being built.

The structure has been designed as a conventional reinforced concrete frame with bracing cores. The building is approx. 35 m high.

The floors are designed as point-supported flat slabs just 20 cm thick, allowing the height of the building to be optimised for overall economic efficiency. Through the skeletal structure and beamless floor slab construction, great flexibility both for present and future use could be achieved. The base foundation was realised as a continuous flat slab, thereby avoiding the risk of differential settlement. The basement has been designed as a waterproof "white tank", rendering additional expensive sealing measures unnecessary.
